Finn Bjørn Ruyter
Finn Bjørn Ruyter has since July 2018 been CEO of Hafslund E-CO. He was CEO of Hafslund ASA from January 2012, and CFO in the company from 2010 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010 he held a position as chief operating officer in the Philippine hydro power company SN Aboitiz Power located in Manila. In the period 1999-2009 he led the energy division in Elkem ASA and before that the power trading entity from 1996. From 1991-1996 Ruyter worked with energy trading in Norsk Hydro ASA. Ruyter has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Technology (NTNU) and an MBA from BI Norwegian School of Management. He is member of the boards in Equinor ASA, Vistin Pharma ASA, Fortum Oslo Varme AS, Sysco AS and Europower AS.
Tore Olaf Rimmereid
Deputy CEO and EVP Corporate Strategy
Tore Olaf Rimmereid took up the position as Deputy CEO and EVP, Corporate Strategy 1 September 2018. Rimmereid came from the position of managing director of E-CO Energi, a position he held from June 2009. Before this Rimmereid was director of administration and finance in The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). Before this he was CFO in Sparebank 1 and has had several positions in Kredittkassen. Rimmereid holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), with additional education as authorized financial analyst. He was previously chairman of the board in E-CO Energi and has also been member of the board in Hafslund ASA. He has been chairman of the board in Energi Norge and political secretary for the conservative party of Norway (Høyre).
Heidi Ulmo took up the position as CFO 1 September 2018. Ulmo has been CFO in Hafslund ASA since August 2012. From 2010 she held the position as director corporate finance within DNB Markets. From 2007-2010 Ulmo served as CFO of Infratek ASA and from 2005-2007 she was responsible for investor relations and corporate strategy in Hafslund ASA. Ulmo was from 2000-2005 project manager in Carnegie Investment Banking’s division in Oslo. She has experience from PwC in London and McKinsey in Oslo. Ulmo holds a master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and a BA Joint Honors in Finance and Management Science from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Ulmo is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. She is member of the board of the OBOS group.
Alf Inge Berget
EVP Power Generation
Alf Inge Berget took up the position as EVP, Power Generation and managing director of E-CO Energi 1 September 2018. Since 2008, Berget has held the position of production manager in the same company. Before that, he was CEO of Eltel Networks in Norway. He has previously been employed in the Hafslund group as CEO of Hafslund Fakturaservice AS and has gained broad experience from different management positions within the energy sector. Berget has a degree in electro engineering from Oslo Engineering College and additional education within business administration. He also has a master’s degree in management from BI Norwegian Business School. He is board member in HydroCen.
Stig Morten Løken
Stig Morten Løken took up the position of EVP, Technical and managing director of Eidsiva Vannkraft, September 30, 2019. He came from the position of director of Eidsiva Vannkraft, which he has chaired since 2016. Løken has over 20 years of experience from various management functions in hydropower generation, both from power trading, production management, project management and management of operating and maintenance organisations. From 2012, he managed Eidsiva Vannkraft's operations, which included a production portfolio of about 7.5 TWh distributed across 48 power plants, and the development of several large hydropower projects. Løken has a master’s degree within electrical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He is chairman of the board of The Association of Bægnavassdragets Regulation and board member of Ecohz AS and Glommens- and Laagens Regulation Association.
EVP Power market
Anders Østby took up the position as EVP, Power market 1 September 2018. Østby has been SVP, Production since September 2011 and managing director of Hafslund Produksjon since September 2008. He has been responsible for construction of Hafslund's new power stations at Kykkelsrud and Vamma. Østby has previously served as director of division Market in Hafslund Operator, director of Network development, and head of Planning department in Hafslund Nett. Østby is a graduate engineer from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has studied finance and project management at BI Norwegian Business School.
EVP New Energy
Toril Benum took up the position as EVP, New Energy 1 September 2018. She has held the position as project director of the Hafslund Nett AMM project since May 2015 and director of projects and development in Hafslund Nett since March 2017. Prior to that, she served as CIO of Veidekke ASA (2010-2015) and she has held several management positions in Aker Solutions. Benum holds a master’s degree within mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
EVP HR and Organizational Development
Siw Hellesen took up the position as EVP, HR and Organizational Development 1 September 2018. She came from the position as director of HR and competence in Hafslund Nett, a position she has held since November 2016. Prior to that, Hellesen held the position as director of organizational development in Hafslund ASA (2015-16) and department manager for organizational development (2011-15). Responsibilities included competence and leadership development, recruitment and Hafslund’s improvement program (Lean). Hellesen joined Hafslund ASA as organizational consultant in 2008. Previous work experience includes Orkla Brands (HR manager, 2007), and The Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research (senior advisor, 2002-2006). Shye holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Bergen.
EVP Corporate Communications and Legal
Per-Arne Torbjørnsdal took up the position as EVP, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs on 1 September 2018. He came from the position as SVP, Corporate Strategy and Communication at E-CO Energi. Prior to this he was SVP, Corporate Development (2010-2017) and SVP, Communication and Public Affairs (2002-2010) at E-CO. Between 1997 and 2001 he served as chief of staff of the conservative party (Høyre) group at the city council of Oslo and later as political adviser to the vice mayor for finance at the city government. Torbjørnsdal holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Oslo, including a course in international energy law from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. He also holds a degree in business administration from BI Norwegian Business School. He is board member of Energi Norge and holds positions in the Eurelectric.
Martin S. Lundby
Martin S. Lundby took up the position as EVP Projects on 1 September 2019. He has been acting CFO since June 2018. Prior to this he was Head of Finance and Investor Relations (2016-2018) and business developer focusing on M&A and strategy (2013-2015) in Hafslund ASA. He also has experience as a transaction adviser at EY (2011-2013). Lundby holds a MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
